affected communities. since 1991 they has been civil conflict in Sierra
Leone thousand of people including women and children where killed by the
rebel forces. the war in Sierra Leone the country need major Rehabilitation
Reconstruction and Resettlement of the war affected communities, the
International Islamic Youth League is the leading Islamic Non Governmental
Organisation working along side with the United Nation Agencies in Sierra
Leone, such as Food and Agricultural organisation of the United Nation,
United Nation High Commissioner for Refugees, United Nation World Food
Programme and National Commission for Social Action of the Government of
Sierra Leone we are Requesting for funding in order to rebuild the war
affected muslim Communities in Sierra Leone. Sierra Leone is 70% Muslim
dominated country but is lack of support from the muslim world, the country
is presently need of humanitarian and developmental assistance to
rehabilitate their burnt down Schools, Houses and mosques it is important to
note that when the rebel wher attack in the Muslim they were targeting
Muslim in Mosque as a result of that, many of mosque where totaly burnt down
the commnities are now requesting to construct new mosque in their
communities. Children need to further their Education for their future but
they are lack of support and also their is no Schools availble in thier
resettlement communities, water is very big problems presently in the
country 80% of the water wells where contaminated with deth bodies becouse
when the rebels where killing peoples they where barr them in to the water
wells therefore we are requesting for funding in order to construct the new
water wells in the affected Muslim Communities, their is lots of orphans in
the country who lost their families through the rebel war this children need
some one to take care of them 90% of Those children are Muslim, Brother and
Sister we are requesting for urgent Financial assistance to rebuild Sierra
