Who Is Killing Civilians In Afghanistan?

Taliban are from the people of Afghanistan who have fought the invaders for the past 15 years. Taliban are a part of the common people of Afghanistan who cannot be separated from them. From every province, district, home and every corner of Afghanistan the cries of support for Taliban echo from the mouths of the common innocent Muslim population of Afghanistan. The reason of support to Taliban from the common population of Afghanistan is because Taliban consider the protection of the religion of Islam, sovereignty of Afghanistan and working for the interest of the Muslims as their duty.

Almost everyone in Afghanistan, educated and uneducated, knows that there is no independent organization in Afghanistan watching the civilians casualties and fatalities. Every time the invaders especially the Americans commit a crime against humanity and violate the basic human rights, the authorities cover-up their crimes shamelessly while the media also avoids covering it. The dilemma is that the war crimes of Americans are not only censored by the regime but the media – which is controlled by the invading forces – are told to attribute their crimes on Taliban and label Taliban as the reason behind the casualties. The media has proven its biased attitude on many occasions yet they describe themselves as the champions of freedom of speech. The regime is desperately trying to break the bond of common Muslims of Afghanistan with Taliban via 24/7 propaganda in the state and not-state run media houses and social media platforms. The invaders have on numerous occasions bombed funerals, weddings, hospitals, schools, and social gatherings in which they have massacred entire villages and families.

Some of the war crimes and massacres which were carried out by the American invaders are highlighted below:

1- In year 2014 in Helmand province Sangin district, a wedding ceremony was aerially bombed by Americans leaving 35 civilians killed and more than 45 injured.

2-On 30th August 2015 in Wardak province Sayedabad district, the so called ANA or Afghan National army fired mortars and canons which killed 13 innocent civilians of a single family.

3-In the month of September 2015 in Logar province Muhammad Agha district, in the name of clearance operation against Taliban the regime forces indiscriminately killed and massacred many women and children.

4- In 2015 a hospital run by Doctors without Borders was bombed by the American in which many doctors and innocent patients lost their lives.

5- In the current year 2016 in Badghis provincial center, 2 innocent civilians were killed and then their bodies were burned.

6-On 13th of June 2016 in Farah province, a funeral procession was bombed in which tens of civilians were killed and injured.

7- Several innocent civilians were shot in Zabul province in the current month by the local police, who are famous for the killings of civilians throughout the country.

8- In the current year in Maiwand District of Kandahar province, an indiscriminate night raid killed 6 civilians and left many injured without any justification.

9- In the northern province of Baghlan the local police commander killed several civilians in the current month.

The above are few examples which were also highlighted bythe puppet and controlled media of the invaders but there are many more which cannot be described here in few lines. UNAMA also released a biased report which labeled Taliban as the major reason for the mounting civilian casualties, a blatant lie and report based on partial news that even goes against the norms of their own system.

The people of the Northern provinces protested and complained against the atrocities of The First Vice President Dostum in his military massacres over the past few months. Not even the animal and cattle were spared by him which were boasted by the media as anti-Taliban operations.

The regime and invaders are now taking out their frustration on the innocent civilians for their own losses and defeats. Every day there is a war crime performed by the regime forces who are not even in coordination with each other and cannot monitor their own forces. The media turns a blind eye to these crimes. The reports by the NGOs and other controlled organs are biased and partial. The regime soldiers have been involved in the torture and murder of civilians on hundreds of occasions which are even properly covered or documented in the far places of the country.
