Situation in France has deteriorated on Friday. In the afternoon, the French authorities have stated that they blocked two brothers Said and Cherif Kouachi in Dammartin-en-Goele, northeast of Paris. The brothers entered a local printing house, and strengthened it. According to eyewitnesses, they told civilians to leave the area because they do not want to harm them.

Police authorities announced that during telephone conversations with the Kouachi brothers they said they did not intend to give up and get ready to take die as martyrs.

A few hours after the announcement of blocking the brothers in the printing block in Dammartin-en-Goele, a breaking news came from Paris, reporting about a capture of a Jewish supermarket (kosher food store).

Police reported that 2 people died during a shootout.

Mass media reported quoting the authorities that the Jewish store captured by an armed man and that he holds several hostages. Later it became known that he demanded freedom for the Kouachi brothers and threatened to kill the hostages in case of storming of the printing house.

The Jewish quarter of Paris was transferred to a state of siege.

Police announced the names of two people - a 32-year-old man Amedy Coulibaly and a 26-year-old woman Hayat Boumeddiene, who according to the authorities, the day before shot policemen in Paris. The security services said nothing about their whereabouts. They appealed to the population to help "find terrorists" and called for caution, as they are "armed and very dangerous".

Special forces and armored vehicles have been deployed in Dammartin-en-Goele. The area is cordoned off, several helicopters landed. Witnesses and journalists reported that the event was like a scene from the feature thriller.

A few hours later report came about the storming of the printing house in Dammartin-en-Goele and a Jewish shop in Paris. Later in the afternoon the officials of the French authorities announced that the Kouachi brothers killed.

Just after these events a message came about the hostage-taking in a jewelry store in Montpellier. However, the authorities were quick to reassure the population, saying that it was not a terrorist attack, but a robbery.

The events of recent days literally rocked France. Level of nervousness reflects the fact that the president Hollande called to introduce a nationwide state of emergency.

It is to be recalled that yesterday the two Kouachi brothers attacked magazine Charlie Hebdo and shot several cartoonists, including chief editor, involved in the publication of offensive cartoons on the Prophet Muhammad, may peace and blessings of Allah be upon him.

According to the claims of French security services, one of the Kouachi brothers, Said, in 2011, traveled to Yemen and met with the Islamic preacher Sheikh Anwar al-Awlaki, who was later killed along with his 15-year-old son by an American drone.
