Sheikh Abu Yahya Al-Libi (may Allah protect him)

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

Today, the Islamic Ummah is witnessing rapidly arising, consecutive events, which day by day expose who are those who fall into­ the camps of the infidels, and clarify who the people of the proper creed are, so that the good and truthful become clearly distinguished from the filthy infidels, leaving no room for confusion. This is accordance with the saying of Allah:

﴿مَّا كَانَ اللّهُ لِيَذَرَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ عَلَى مَا أَنتُمْ عَلَيْهِ حَتَّىَ يَمِيزَ الْخَبِيثَ مِنَ الطَّيِّبِ وَمَا كَانَ اللّهُ لِيُطْلِعَكُمْ عَلَى الْغَيْبِ وَلَكِنَّ اللّهَ يَجْتَبِي مِن رُّسُلِهِ مَن يَشَاءُ فَآمِنُواْ بِاللّهِ وَرُسُلِهِ وَإِن تُؤْمِنُواْ وَتَتَّقُواْ فَلَكُمْ أَجْرٌ عَظِيمٌ﴾

“Allah will not leave the Believers in the state in which you are now, until He distinguishes the wicked from the good. Nor will Allah disclose to you the secrets of the unseen, but Allah chooses of His Messengers whom He pleases. So believe in Allah and His Messengers. And if you believe and fear Allah, then for you there is a great reward.” (Aali-Imran: 179)

You will never find anything which clarifies the sides, removes filth, and exposes the truth better than Jihad in the Cause of Allah (I), for its caravan continues; whenever it travels its course with firmness and determination, continues its confrontation with the infidels in public, and crosses through seas of hardships, remaining patient in this, the arrogant infidel enemies go overboard in their arrogance and tyranny, leading them to even more acts of blatant disbelief, exposing the things they once kept hidden. Their rage and hatred overcomes their attempts of false appeasement, and the false appearances which they hide behind vanish. Their matter has become known to all, and their state of affairs has become totally clear to all who seek the truth. Their lies and forgeries no longer benefit or hide them, for the battle they fight is against those who are clearly from the people of truth, and they cannot proceed except by announcing their true motives and goals, which inevitably means publicly opposing the truth, and clearly rejecting to submit to it. From these actions, their filth and impurity becomes apparent and clear. Allah (I) said:

﴿إِنَّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ يُنفِقُونَ أَمْوَالَهُمْ لِيَصُدُّواْ عَن سَبِيلِ اللّهِ فَسَيُنفِقُونَهَا ثُمَّ تَكُونُ عَلَيْهِمْ حَسْرَةً ثُمَّ يُغْلَبُونَ وَالَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ إِلَى جَهَنَّمَ يُحْشَرُونَ . لِيَمِيزَ اللّهُ الْخَبِيثَ مِنَ الطَّيِّبِ وَيَجْعَلَ الْخَبِيثَ بَعْضَهُ عَلَىَ بَعْضٍ فَيَرْكُمَهُ جَمِيعاً فَيَجْعَلَهُ فِي جَهَنَّمَ أُوْلَـئِكَ هُمُ الْخَاسِرُونَ﴾

“Verily, those who disbelieve spend their wealth to hinder [people] from the Path of Allah, and so will they continue to spend it; but in the end it will become an anguish for them. Then they will be overcome. And those who disbelieve will be gathered unto Hell. In order that Allah may distinguish the wicked from the good, and put the wicked one on another, heap them together and cast them into Hell. Those! It is they who are the losers” (Al-Anfal: 36-37)

Clearly distinguishing the way of the criminals is a religious goal which Islam has always sought to accomplish, so that the bright face of the truth, His clear verses, His clear-cut proofs, His distinguished camp and His truthful party become apparent, and so that the black face of falsehood, deep-rooted crime, animalistic desires, Satanic lusts, rotten filth and the subdued party also becomes clear, so that those who lead themselves to their own destruction, and those who lead themselves to everlasting life both do so knowingly.

This distinguishment can only occur with clear knowledge, which does not try to appease the infidels nor favors them; nor bends the verses of Allah to please them, to gain their favor or yields to their whims and society; as well as with serious work, holding fast to the Book, and exerting the most one can to confront the lies of the infidels, raising the swords of truth to fight them, and  chase after them, not surrendering to the pains of injury or its blood.

Ustadh Syed Qutb, may Allah have mercy on him, said:

Just like a defensive attitude does not only result from the feeling of the person upon truth that he is correct, it also results from the feeling that the one opposing him and fighting him is false and has taken a path of the criminals, those who Allah mentions in other verses that He has made for every Prophet an enemy from them:

﴿وَكذلِكَ جَعَلْنَا لِكُلِّ نبيٍّ عدوا مِنَ المُجْرِمين﴾

“Thus have We made for every Prophet an enemy among the criminal sinners. But Sufficient is your Lord as a Guide and Helper.” (Al-Furqan: 31)

…so that the Prophet and the believers clearly understand and are certain that those who oppose them are none other than criminals.

The exposition of disbelief, evil and criminality is necessary for belief, goodness and uprightness to become clear. Clarifying the way of the criminals is an important objective of the Quranic approach, for any confusion in the stance of the criminals and their path also means confusion in the path of the believers and their way. They are two opposite pages and two distinct paths… and their colors and shapes must be clear.” (In the Shade of the Quran 3/51)

Dear Muslims, we must know that when Allah commanded us to perform the worship of Jihad, and encouraged us to pursue the infidels into their own lands and forts, He willed that this struggle be surrounded with pains and wounds, and that it proceed in its course with thirst and toil. In spite of this, He asked us to be patient, vie with our enemies in patience, and strive hard so that we will be the pursuers and not the pursued, be attacking invaders and not defending and invaded, bearing the hardships and pains, patient when wounded, seeking reward with our Lord (I):

﴿وَلاَ تَهِنُوا وَلاَ تَحْزَنُوا وَأَنتُمُ الأَعْلَوْنَ إِن كُنتُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ ^ إِن يَمْسَسْكُمْ قَرْحٌ فَقَدْ مَسَّ الْقَوْمَ قَرْحٌ مِّثْلُهُ وَتِلْكَ الأيَّامُ نُدَاوِلُهَا بَيْنَ النَّاسِ وَلِيَعْلَمَ اللّهُ الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ وَيَتَّخِذَ مِنكُمْ شُهَدَاء وَاللّهُ لاَ يُحِبُّ الظَّالِمِينَ﴾

“So do not become weak (against your enemy), nor be sad, and you will be superior (in victory) if you are indeed (true) Believers. If a wound (and killing) has touched you, be sure a similar wound (and killing) has touched the others. And so are the days (good and not so good), We give to men by turns, that Allah may test those who believe, and that He may take martyrs from among you. And Allah likes not the wrong-doers.” (Aali Imran: 139-140)

From these great affairs which Allah wanted to be a test to distinguish truth from falsehood, guidance from deviance, and to expose the forgeries of the claimants, is what is occurring today in Pakistan; especially the fierce war being fought in the Mujahid and determined valley of Swat, and in the defiant province of Waziristan.

It is incumbent upon the scholars and students of knowledge of Pakistan to take advantage of this opportunity to clarify the truth for the people, lighting the path which they must take and exposing the nakedness of the successive regimes which have ruled this country. They must expose the forged slogans behind which its criminal army hides, that which has been used to sedate its Muslims for decades, until these events arose which completed the exposition of their deep-rooted crimes, the hidden enmity they hold for Islam and Muslims, and their total allegiance to the fiercest and most tyrannical infidel country in the war against Islam: America. This matter, as it has reached this stage, cannot tolerate any appeasement, interpolation, or making excuses for these evil beings. However much a Muslim tries to go along with them, or to ignore them, they will be pleased with nothing less than them joining their filthy camp, which has raised the flag which they fight under.

I say to you, O excellent scholars of Pakistan, noble students of knowledge and leaders of the various Islamic movements: the events will not stop at this level, one which many try to sideline themselves from, as if it does not concern them. Rather, other events will speedily follow, until they require that all people take a clear unwavering stance regarding it. Either they will side with the true people of Faith, the believing and Mujahid party of Allah, or with the criminal party of Satan and his arrogant and tyrannical allies. Let everyone look into themselves and safeguard their religion, for this matter is indeed serious and not one to joke about.

Based upon this, these heated events, especially in Swat, require us to examine the facts, so that every Muslim knows where he stands, and what he must do.

Thus, there are some questions which must be asked. Why has the Pakistan army attacked Swat? What is it seeking to achieve? What are its reasons?

Indeed it is a great error that we see a massacre taking place in a Muslim land, and do not look into the reasons and goals for it, at the very least to know the truth from falsehood. The issue here in this battle does not need to be bent, or made complicated, but due to the fact that it results in hardship and difficulty, many run from facing the facts, trying as much as possible to avoid them, or hide the facts and misguide others.

All people know that our brother Mujahidoon in Swat have publicly announced their goals, and have repetitively stated the demands which they seek to fulfill, being the establishment of the Islamic Shariah in Swat and elsewhere. In another words, they are fighting so as to make the Word of Allah supreme; and there is no Muslim on the face of this earth who is not expected to strive to achieve this goal to the best of their ability.

A Muslim does not accept that something other than the Islamic Shariah should rule over his land. A Muslim never accepts that some other word reigns superior over the Word of Islam. A Muslim does not accept that some of the religion be for Allah, and some be for others.   A Muslim does not accept that his allegiance be given to someone other than Allah, His Messenger and the Believers. A Muslim does not accept that those who rule him are sinning infidels who oppose Allah and His Messenger.

All these goals and ends have been clearly and explicitly mentioned in the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of the Prophet (r). This is something which can be understood by even by the average layperson, and much more by the scholars. Allah (I) has said:

﴿ثُمَّ جَعَلْنَاكَ عَلَى شَرِيعَةٍ مِّنَ الْأَمْرِ فَاتَّبِعْهَا وَلَا تَتَّبِعْ أَهْوَاء الَّذِينَ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ﴾

“Then We have put you on a plain way of the commandment like the one which We commanded Our Messengers before you. So follow you that (Islamic Monotheism and its laws), and follow not the desires of those who know not.” (Al-Jathiyah: 18)

He (I) also said:

﴿وَقَاتِلُوهُمْ حَتَّى لاَ تَكُونَ فِتْنَةٌ وَيَكُونَ الدِّينُ كُلُّهُ لِلَّهِ فَإِنِ انْتَهَوْا فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ بِمَا يَعْمَلُونَ بَصِيرٌ﴾

“And fight them until there is no more disbelief, and the religion (worship) will all be for Allah Alone. But if they cease, then certainly, Allah is All-Seer of what they do.” (Al-Anfal:39)

﴿أَفَحُكْمَ الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ يَبْغُونَ وَمَنْ أَحْسَنُ مِنَ اللّهِ حُكْماً لِّقَوْمٍ يُوقِنُونَ﴾

“Do they then seek the judgment of (the Days of) Ignorance? And who is better in judgment than Allah for a people who have firm Faith.” (Al-Ma’idah: 50)

On the authority of Abu Musa Al-Ashari (t):

سُئِلَ رسولُ الله صلى الله عليه وسلم عن الرَّجُلِ : يُقاتِلُ شَجاعَة ، ويُقاتِلُ حَمِيَّة، ويقاتِلُ رياء : أيُّ ذلك في سَبيلِ الله ؟ فقال رسولُ الله صلى الله عليه وسلم : «من قَاتلَ لتكونَ كلمةُ الله هي العُلْيَّا فهو في سبيل الله»

“The Messenger of Allah (r) was asked about which one of the following is considered fighting in the Cause of Allah: a man who fights only due to his courage, another who fights for tribalism, and another who fights to be seen of others. The Messenger of Allah (r) replied, ‘Whoever fights in order to make the Word of Allah supreme, it is considered fighting in the Cause of Allah.’”

In Saheeh Muslim, it is narrated that the Messenger of Allah (r) said:

« مَنْ قَاتَلَ لِتَكُونَ كَلِمَةُ اللَّهِ أَعْلَى فَهُوَ فيِ سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ »

“Whoever fights to make the Word of Allah supreme, it is considered fighting in the Cause of Allah.”

So what the Mujahidoon in Swat are trying to achieve is something clear and specific, both in the religion and in practicality. Religiously, Allah (I) has ordered us to establish His religion, His rule of Law, and He has warned us from falling short in any aspect of this. Allah (I) said:

﴿وَأَنِ احْكُم بَيْنَهُم بِمَا أَنزَلَ اللّهُ وَلاَ تَتَّبِعْ أَهْوَاءهُمْ وَاحْذَرْهُمْ أَن يَفْتِنُوكَ عَن بَعْضِ مَا أَنزَلَ اللّهُ إِلَيْكَ فَإِن تَوَلَّوْاْ فَاعْلَمْ أَنَّمَا يُرِيدُ اللّهُ أَن يُصِيبَهُم بِبَعْضِ ذُنُوبِهِمْ وَإِنَّ كَثِيراً مِّنَ النَّاسِ لَفَاسِقُونَ﴾

“And so judge between them by what Allah has revealed and follow not their vain desires, but beware of them lest they turn you far away from some of that which Allah has sent down to you. And if they turn away, then know that Allah's Will is to punish them for some sins of theirs. And truly, most of men are rebellious sinners.” (Al-Maidah: 49)

Practically speaking, our brothers there have exerted all efforts to implements this commandment of Allah. They have truthfully strived to implement it, in obedience and submission to this command of Allah, which no Muslim can escape.

This is something which is simple to understand; it is not complicated or something which can be altered: the Pakistan army with all its might and power has set out in totality to fight the Muslims in Swat, in order to prevent them from the establishment of the Islamic Shariah. To clarify further: the Pakistan army, and the government which leads it, utterly refuse that the Islamic Shariah be established, and right now they are destroying villages and cities, along with their inhabitants, to prevent this from being accomplished. Not only do they prove this point with their tanks and jets, they say this with their own words, and in their interviews to the masses, without any shame whatsoever.

Thus, we are one of two sides today in this battle: one which fights in the Cause of Allah, to make His Word supreme, and to establish the Shariah – and they are the people of Truth and Jihad, and another which fights to prevent the establishment of Allah’s law, doing anything to prevent this from happening. Allah has indeed spoken the truth when he described both of these parties, saying:

﴿الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ يُقَاتِلُونَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللّهِ وَالَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ يُقَاتِلُونَ فِي سَبِيلِ الطَّاغُوتِ فَقَاتِلُواْ أَوْلِيَاء الشَّيْطَانِ إِنَّ كَيْدَ الشَّيْطَانِ كَانَ ضَعِيفاً﴾

“Those who believe fight in the Cause of Allah, and those who disbelieve fight in the cause of Taaghoot (false gods, notions, etc). So fight you against the allies of Satan. Ever feeble indeed is the plot of Satan.” (Al-Nisaa: 76)

With this, the Pakistani army and the government which leads it and governs it, have exposed their true selves, which they have been trying to hide for such a long time. It has become clear to all those who seek to know the truth, and do not follow their whims, that they are enemies of Allah, his Messenger and the Believers. They are the allies of Satan, and are a part of his criminal party, not respecting any ties of kinship or covenant, and their motto “Iman (Faith), Taqwa, (Piety) and Jihad in the Cause of Allah” is only something which they hide behind, so as to carry out their acts of disbelief and hypocrisy, and to spread corruption on the Earth and amongst the people.

Say to me by my Lord, is it from “Iman, Taqwa and Jihad in the Cause of Allah” that you displace over two million Muslims because they want Allah’s Rule and not the Rule of Jahiliyah (Ignorance)?

Is it from “Iman, Taqwa and Jihad in the Cause of Allah” to intentionally target Mosques, demolishing them with tanks and jets, because their visitors are those who say that only Allah has the right of legislation?

Is it from “Iman, Taqwa and Jihad in the Cause of Allah” to rain fire upon weak and oppressed men, women and children?

﴿وَمَا نَقَمُوا مِنْهُمْ إِلَّا أَنْ يُؤْمِنُوا بِاللَّهِ الْعَزِيزِ الْحَمِيدِ﴾

“They had nothing against them, except that they believed in Allah, the All-Mighty, Worthy of all Praise.” (Al-Burooj: 8)

Is it from “Iman, Taqwa and Jihad in the Cause of Allah” that you burn cities and villages, homes, trees and stones because its inhabitants said, “Our Lord is Allah, and then they remained firm?”

Is it from “Iman, Taqwa and  Jihad in the Cause of Allah” that you gather all these troops, with all their might and strength, only to answer the call of the spiteful Christian America, whose leaders and politicians expressed their approval of the crimes carried out by the puppet Pakistani army against the Muslims in Swat? Indeed Allah has spoken the truth when He said:

﴿وَلَنْ تَرْضَى عَنْكَ الْيَهُودُ وَلَا النَّصَارَى حَتَّى تَتَّبِعَ مِلَّتَهُمْ﴾

“Never will the Jews or the Christians be pleased with you till you follow their religion.” (Al-Baqarah: 120)

My great, respected scholars of Pakistan, tell us by your Lord, with all clarity, what is the ruling concerning a person who objects to even one ruling in Islam, refusing to follow and submit to it? And then, what is the ruling concerning those who gather their troops together, demolishing villages and mosques, killing, displacing and desecrating the honor of thousands of Muslims, all to prevent the implementation of Allah’s laws and the religion?

Indeed Iblees, may all sorts of curses be upon him, deserved to be ousted from the Mercy of Allah, residing in Hellfire forever, because he refused to make one prostration which Allah commanded him to make due to his arrogance and pride. What about those who refuse the entire Shariah of Allah?

The Companions, may Allah be pleased with them, fought those who refused to pay the Zakah because they refused to offer it, although they were people who prayed, fasted, performed Hajj, pronounced the Shahadah and affirmed the succession of Abu Bakr. Who has more right to be fought and to be labeled as disbelievers? Those who refused to offer the Zakah, or this criminal army and its apostate government who have outright refused Allah’s law, who fight the believers and obey Satan’s allies, all in order that the laws of the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful are not applied?

﴿فَلَا وَرَبِّكَ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ حَتَّى يُحَكِّمُوكَ فِيمَا شَجَرَ بَيْنَهُمْ ثُمَّ لَا يَجِدُوا فِي أَنْفُسِهِمْ حَرَجًا مِمَّا قَضَيْتَ وَيُسَلِّمُوا تَسْلِيمًا﴾

“But no, by your Lord, they can have no Faith, until they make you (O Muhammad) judge in all disputes between them, and find in themselves no resistance against your decisions, and accept (them) with full submission.” (Al-Nisaa: 65)

The great scholar Abu Bakr Al-Jassas, may Allah have mercy on him, said:

Abu Bakr (t) fought those who refused to offer the Zakah due to fact that the Companions agreed with him on two aspects: the first is disbelief, and the second was their refusal to offer Zakah, for they refused to accept the obligation of Zakah, and to offer it; thus two factors were present. The first was their refusal to accept Allah’s ruling, which is disbelief.  The second was their refusal to offer the obligatory charity from their wealth to the Imam. Thus, he fought them for both of these reasons. For this reason he said, “If they refuse to pay even a shoelace’s worth of what they did to the Messenger of Allah (r), I would fight them for it.” We say that they are disbelievers who refused to accept the obligation of Zakah because the Companions called them “The People of Riddah”, and this is something which they were called until this day today. (Ahkam Al-Quran by Al-Jassas 2/193)

The previous and current events taking place in Swat, Waziristan and other areas are a sufficient lesson for those who spend their whole lives, and form their organizations for what they call “peaceful demands for the implementation of the Pakistani Constitution”, which they falsely think to be Islamic, as these events have exposed the fact that this proxy army was only formed to prevent Muslims from implementing the Shariah of their Lord. It has only prepared and trained itself to be loyal to their British and other allies and leaders who formed it, and that the annihilation of all the Muslims in Pakistan is less important to it and its leaders than that even one of Allah’s laws be implemented. Recent and repetitive events are the best witness to this. Thus, this armed evil must be confronted by armed good, and this falsehood which hides behind numbers, must likewise be met with truth armed with weapons.

Indeed these so-called peaceful demands are nothing but a trick through which Satan has fooled many people. They have wasted the years of their lives running behind false illusions and imagination which hold no semblance of reality. They have never, and will never, be able to implement even one ruling of the religion of Allah (I). If only they had prepared for Jihad, been guided to face the reality instead of running behind false dreams, and had known the true nature of the religion and their enemies, they would have never chosen a path whose first benefiters are the enemies who have made them as an opiate of the masses, killing the zeal contained in the hearts of those jealous and protective that the sanctity of the religion is not desecrated. They took advantage of their participation in their idolic assemblies to give a religious semblance to this un-Islamic country, its idolic government and its Jahilistic rule.

﴿وَلَوْ أَنَّهُمْ فَعَلُوا مَا يُوعَظُونَ بِهِ لَكَانَ خَيْرًا لَهُمْ وَأَشَدَّ تَثْبِيتًا ^ وَإِذًا لَآَتَيْنَاهُمْ مِنْ لَدُنَّا أَجْرًا عَظِيمًا ^ وَلَهَدَيْنَاهُمْ صِرَاطًا مُسْتَقِيمًا﴾

“…but if they had done what they were told, it would have been better for them, and would have strengthened their (Faith). And indeed We should then have bestowed upon them a great reward from Ourselves. And indeed We should have guided them to a Straight Way.” (Al-Nisaa: 66-68)

Not only this, but we see this country grow more and more distant to Islam, and more rebellious against Allah (U) in its politics, laws, media, and their allegiance to the Jews, Christians and others, while these peaceful reformists have not been able to prevent the evil direction of disbelief it headed after they put themselves in paths which they called “legislated methods” cunningly drawn up by their enemies. Thus they slipped, and they fell into a deep pit, from which they cannot save themselves except by returning to the clear truth, which is to fight this government and uproot its Jahilistic laws, and to break the strength of its apostate force, otherwise, they can don the clothes of humiliation and submission which is their cover and motto, as the Prophet (r) said:

«إِذَا تَبَايَعْتُمْ بِالْعِينَةِ وَأَخَذْتُمْ أَذْنَابَ الْبَقَرِ وَرَضِيتُمْ بِالزَّرْعِ وَتَرَكْتُمْ الْجِهَادَ سَلَّطَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْكُمْ ذُلًّا لَا يَنْزِعُهُ حَتَّى تَرْجِعُوا إِلَى دِينِكُمْ»

“If you engage in eenah transactions (a type of usury), hold on to the tails of cows, are satisfied with agriculture, and you leave fighting Jihad, Allah will send upon you a humiliation which He will not remove until you return to your religion.”

If the religion of Allah was able to be established or given rule, without breaking the strength of the disbelieves who prevent this from happening, without death, weapons or war, Allah (I) would not have commanded us to fight until there is no more disbelief and all religion is for Allah alone, as Allah (U) said:

﴿وَقَاتِلُوهُمْ حَتَّى لاَ تَكُونَ فِتْنَةٌ وَيَكُونَ الدِّينُ كُلُّهُ لِلَّهِ فَإِنِ انْتَهَوْا فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ بِمَا يَعْمَلُونَ بَصِيرٌ﴾

“And fight them until there is no more disbelief, and the religion (worship) will all be for Allah Alone. But if they cease, then certainly, Allah is All-Seer of what they do.” (Al-Anfal:39)

This is a truthful and sincere call to all those youth whose hearts are filled with jealousy for Islam and Muslims in Pakistan, who have been sedated with these dazzling slogans, repetitive calls, violent protests, fiery sermons and jam-packed gatherings. We say to them: You must fight Jihad in the Cause of Allah, for by Allah, it is the shortest, safest and closest path to making Islam supreme. In fact, there is no other way to establish an Islamic State except by branding weapons against these criminals who have rebelled against Allah and His religion. The weakness, humiliation and subservience to the sinning disbelievers which has afflicted Pakistan is only due to abstaining from Jihad in the Cause of Allah, for the Prophet (r) said:

«ما ترك قوم الجهاد إلا عمهم الله بالعذاب»

“No people leave fighting Jihad except that they are stricken by a punishment.”

Do you hope that an army who has devastated homes, demolished mosques, burned copies of the Quran, displaced the weak and oppressed, murdered scholars and students, and has imprisoned and punished the truthful and sincere, will hand you the keys of government, so that you can establish an Islamic state based on the Prophetic example, without even a drop of blood being spilt in this cause? Is it possible for this state of ignorance which has established its roots deep into this time period to leave its ideas, ways, governments, laws and establishments with a mere vote cast at the ballot boxes, or through screaming and shouting inside parliamentary halls? Allah (I) has said:

﴿وَلاَ يَزَالُونَ يُقَاتِلُونَكُمْ حَتَّى يَرُدُّوكُمْ عَنْ دِينِكُمْ إِنِ اسْتَطَاعُوا﴾

“And they will never cease fighting you until they turn you back from your religion if they can.” (Al-Baqarah:217)

My dear Islamic youth in Pakistan, take the path which your Prophet (r) took in which his tooth was broken and his noble face was struck, and an egg was broken over his head. Discard those ways which kill the heart and zeal, hinder feelings, and increase the control of the enemies from within and without.

﴿لَقَدْ كَانَ لَكُمْ فِي رَسُولِ اللَّهِ أُسْوَةٌ حَسَنَةٌ لِمَنْ كَانَ يَرْجُو اللَّهَ وَالْيَوْمَ الآخِرَ وَذَكَرَ اللَّهَ كَثِيرًا﴾

“Indeed in the Messenger of Allah (Muhammad) you have a good example to follow for him who hopes in (the Meeting with) Allah and the Last Day and remembers Allah much.” (Al-Ahzab: 21)

Support your sincere brother Mujahidoon in Swat and elsewhere, physically and financially, for Muslims are like a solid structure, each brick supporting the other.

Just yesterday we saw the suffering of our brothers in Gaza by the hands of the occupying Jews, and we saw that the Muslims of the east and west stood with them. Various countries were shaken with empathy and support for our brothers there. Today, another massacre is occurring, which is no less of an atrocity, not by the hands of the Jews, but rather their apostate allies and aides. Villages in Swat were pulverized as they were in Gaza, mosques and seminaries were destroyed in more atrocious ways than Gaza, more Muslim masses were killed in than their brothers in Gaza, and those who were displaced from their homes and villages here were more that the entire population of Gaza itself. Fire rained down upon the weak and poor as it did upon the Muslims in Gaza. If the reason behind the Jews’ offensive against our brother Muslims in Gaza was to strengthen the occupation, and to weaken the strength of the Mujahidoon, indeed the reason for the offensive of their agents from the criminal Pakistani army was to prevent the establishment of the religion of Allah, and support the imposition of Jahilistic laws, thus pleasing the Americans - their masters, and punishing anyone who aids or sympathizes with this ideology which calls out:

﴿أَفَحُكْمَ الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ يَبْغُونَ وَمَنْ أَحْسَنُ مِنَ اللَّهِ حُكْمًا لِقَوْمٍ يُوقِنُونَ﴾

“Do they then seek the judgment of (the Days of) Ignorance? And who is better in judgment than Allah for a people who have firm Faith.” (Al-Ma’idah: 50)

All of these crimes are perpetrated by these murderers, but have not heard even one tenth of one tenth of the objections we heard against the butchery in Gaza, neither from within Pakistan nor from without; as if Muslim blood being spilt is not considered desecration, or an atrocious crime, unless it is perpetrated by the spiteful Jews.

May Allah be with you, O people of Swat, O you who have raised the banner of Jihad with purity and clarity. You have not soiled it with nationalism or racism, rather you have raised weapons against the nearest of people to you who opposed Allah and His Messenger, allied with the infidels from the Jews, Christians and others, and have given rule to Jahilistic laws and have imposed them upon the people. Be patient and firm, and know that victory comes with patience. Let not the rejoicing and arrogance of these vile people scare you, for this is Way of Allah in regards to His creation, while the end will be for the Believers. They will be weakened, their morale will dwindle, and their plots will backfire. Allah (I) said:

﴿وَنُرِيدُ أَنْ نَمُنَّ عَلَى الَّذِينَ اسْتُضْعِفُوا فِي الأَرْضِ وَنَجْعَلَهُمْ أَئِمَّةً وَنَجْعَلَهُمُ الْوَارِثِينَ وَنُمَكِّنَ لَهُمْ فِي الأَرْضِ وَنُرِيَ فِرْعَوْنَ وَهَامَانَ وَجُنُودَهُمَا مِنْهُمْ مَا كَانُوا يَحْذَرُونَ﴾

“And We wished to do a favor to those who were weak (and oppressed) in the land, and to make them rulers and to make them the inheritors, and to establish them in the land, and We let Pharaoh and Haman and their hosts receive from them that which they feared.” (Al-Qasas: 5-6)

There is no other path to victory other the one you have trodden, nor any door to establish Islam except the one which you have knocked on. Carry on upon it, fulfilling your oaths, firm upon your way, having full faith in the victory of your Lord. Can there be any other results except the two good ones? Either you will attain a clear victory and establish Islam, or you will attain martyrdom and the pleasure of Allah, and indeed it is that which is the greatest success.

And the last of our prayers is that all praise is due to Allah, the Lord of all that exists.
