All praise be to Allah, the Lord of all that exists, and may peace and blessings be on the leader of those with brightened faces (on the Day of Judgment), the leader of the Mujahideen, our Prophet Muhammad, and upon all his Family and Companions. To proceed:

Allah (I) says:

(وَكَأَيِّنْ مِنْ نَبِيٍّ قَاتَلَ مَعَهُ رِبِّيُّونَ كَثِيرٌ فَمَا وَهَنُوا لِمَا أَصَابَهُمْ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ وَمَا ضَعُفُوا وَمَا اسْتَكَانُوا وَاللَّهُ يُحِبُّ الصَّابِرِينَ * وَمَا كَانَ قَوْلَهُمْ إِلَّا أَنْ قَالُوا رَبَّنَا اغْفِرْ لَنَا ذُنُوبَنَا وَإِسْرَافَنَا فِي أَمْرِنَا وَثَبِّتْ أَقْدَامَنَا وَانْصُرْنَا عَلَى الْقَوْمِ الْكَافِرِينَ)

“And many a Prophet fought (in Allah's Cause) and along with him (fought) large bands of religious learned men. But they never lost heart for that which did befall them in Allah’s Way, nor did they weaken nor degrade themselves. And Allah loves the patient. And they said nothing but: ‘Our Lord! Forgive us our sins and our transgressions (in keeping our duties to You), establish our feet firmly, and give us victory over the disbelieving folk’.” (Aali Imran: 146-147)

To our precious Ummah:

After a journey filled with sacrifices and repelling of falsehood and its people, two knights from amongst you dismounted their horses to join the band of martyred leaders, the band of heroes who proceeded forth when people lagged behind, showed patience when others could not, vied in patience with the enemies of Allah, and remained garrisoned in the various battlefields while death lay in their wait, from above and from below, and in every nook and alley.

By Allah, it is indeed extremely difficult to inform the Muslim Ummah once again of the news of the loss of two of the greatest leaders of Jihad, two of the greatest men of the Ummah. Two who were only knows to be heroes remaining firm on the path of Jihad despite the severity of the various trials and tests and the numbers of the enemy. Due to this, Allah gave them a new opportunity to establish the religion and make Allah’s Shariah govern the land of Iraq. Allah raised their status and made the infidels choke whenever they heard their names. He made their assassination a goal of their Christian Crusade, and for this they recruited a host of spies, hordes of troops, created various intelligence agencies and tasked their satellites, until Allah willed that these two knights dismount their horses and attain martyrdom in Allah’s Cause. This is how we reckon them, and Allah is the True Reckoner.

Despite the sadness which envelops our hearts in announcing the likes of this news, by Allah, we say nothing except what pleases Allah. Indeed we belong to Allah, and to Him is the final return. We ask Allah to accept these two leaders as martyrs in His Cause, and to grant them the highest station of Paradise, Al-Firdaws.

(وَمَنْ أَوْفَى بِعَهْدِهِ مِنَ اللَّهِ فَاسْتَبْشِرُواْ بِبَيْعِكُمُ الَّذِي بَايَعْتُم بِهِ وَذَلِكَ هُوَ الْفَوْزُ الْعَظِيمُ)

“And who is truer to his covenant than Allah? So rejoice in the bargain which you have concluded. That is the supreme success.” (Al-Tawbah:111)

We also comfort the people of truth amongst the Muslims, east and west, especially the leaders and scholars of Jihad in Afghanistan, Pakistan, the Arabian Peninsula, Somalia, the Islamic Maghreb, and Al-Sham, and we will never forget the delight of our eyes in the honorable and defiant Caucasus, and also the Philippines, Indonesia and Nigeria; we comfort them by informing them that the leadership of the Islamic State of Iraq, Allah willing, is in strong and trustworthy hands, and its affairs have been decided and are under control. Allah willing, Islam will never be harmed from its side. The two sheikhs, may Allah have mercy on them, and the Shura Committee had prepared well for this day in advance, deciding what would happen in this situation. And how could they not do so, when there was no time in which the two Sheikhs were not confronted with death, their explosive jackets always on their chests.

At this time, we remind and give glad tidings to our brothers in religion and the supporters of the Islamic State everywhere whose hearts were attached to the two Sheikhs, that the martyrdom of the leaders at times of battle is a natural consequence of Jihad and is the Way of Allah in regards to His creation. We are certain that this is a sign of the correctness of the path and the truthfulness of those upon it, and that their blood is a cause of increased blessings, sovereignty and victory from Allah, the Lord of the Worlds. By Allah, no knight dismounted his horse in this battle except that through his blood, Allah granted us such victories that we could never have imagined. The blessings in our Jihad are due to the blood of our leaders.

Remain firm, our brothers in Tawheed, on your path of goodness and support of Allah’s religion and his beloved slaves. Proceed on the path for which these two Sheikhs were martyred, and make their blood a light and a fire: a light to illuminate your path and ease its hardships, and a fire for the enemies of Islam:

(إِن يَمْسَسْكُمْ قَرْحٌ فَقَدْ مَسَّ الْقَوْمَ قَرْحٌ مِّثْلُهُ وَتِلْكَ الأيَّامُ نُدَاوِلُهَا بَيْنَ النَّاسِ وَلِيَعْلَمَ اللّهُ الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ وَيَتَّخِذَ مِنكُمْشُهَدَاء وَاللّهُ لاَ يُحِبُّ الظَّالِمِينَ)

“If a wound has touched you, be sure a similar wound has touched the others. And so are the days (good and not so good), We give to men by turns, that Allah may test those who believe, and that He may take martyrs from among you. And Allah likes not the Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doers.” (Aali Imran: 141)

Remind yourselves that you have brothers here in the Islamic State who have broken the sheaths of their swords and have left their families, homes, and the delights of this world. Their condition is like what Salim, the freed slave of Abu Hudhaifah (t), said when it was said to him, “We fear that we will be harmed from your side.” He replied, “What a bad Hafiz (one who has memorized the Quran) I would be if you would be harmed from my side!”

As for the details of this event, those who have taken lies as their religion have indeed lied once again. The Crusaders and their slaves vie with each other to portray the event to their own advantage. The truth of the matter is that the Leader of the Believers, may Allah have mercy on him, had arrived at a guesthouse in the area. He was receiving some guests to decide on some matters of the State. The Prime Minister, Abu Hamzah Al-Muhajir had also attended. When the invading forces arrived, the defense squad engaged them in a firefight, forcing them to retreat. They did not dare to enter the area again, and they never set foot in the area until the cowards carried out air strikes against various targets, from them the guesthouse. After they were sure that it was totally destroyed and that all those in it had been killed, they were surprised to find the two Sheikhs from amongst the killed. This is their habitude: they are more ignoble and base than to confront the people of Tawheed like men, how could they confront the brave Sheikh, the Leader of the Believers, [Abu Umar] Al-Qureishi Al-Baghdadi and the Lion of Islam, Abu Hamzah Al-Muhajir?

We remind the Muslims that the Crusader-Rafidite Alliance will continue to benefit from this event and media to polish the image of the hollow intelligence agencies of the Green-Zone Government, and announce their imaginary victories against the Mujahideen, as it is in dire need of this after the Mujahideen attacks caused the pillars of their state to shake, destroying whatever was left of their might and awe. The Crusaders are also in dire need of this media coverage and TV opportunities to justify its withdrawal which the American administration has already decided, after it lost its desire to battle it out with the Mujahideen on the ground. Don’t their mouthpieces affect you.

(وَلا تَهِنُوا وَلا تَحْزَنُوا وَأَنْتُمُ الْأَعْلَوْنَ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ مُؤْمِنِينَ)

“So do not become weak, nor be sad, and you will be superior if you are indeed (true) believers.” (Aali Imran:139)

And in order to soothe the hearts which surely be broken after this statement, we announce the first good news, of which more will likely follow, Allah willing, after Allah favors the Mujahideen with its completion. This good news is that many of the truthful people have joined the Islamic State, those with which talks had commenced a short time before the initiative of Sheikh Abu Umar, may Allah have mercy on him. These talks ended with these groups joining the Islamic State. In the lead of these groups was Jaish Abu Bakr Al-Salafi, the majority of its members joining the Islamic State. We only delayed announcing this matter in hope that the rest would also join. We ask Allah that He guides those remaining to the aid in uniting the Muslims, to fulfill this duty and enrage the infidels, to whom we say the following:

Be prepared for bad times, O cowards! Your joy will not last long, O impure nobodies! Though Allah has willed that these two Sheikhs be killed today, they have left behind a new and unique generation who has been reared under their care. You will soon see times in which this generation will whiten the hair of your children. Never forget that the likes of the wombs that bore Khattab and Shamil, Misri and Libi, Al-Uyairi, Abul-Bara Al-Jaza’iri, Abun-Noor Al-Maqdisi, Al-Zarqawi and other heroes are still in existence. The earth has produced its blessed fruits, and the mercy-shown nation has presented its sons and sold them for a meager price in Allah’s Cause, to make the Shariah supreme and in its defense. We will see good times and bad times, but the final end is for the Believers.

(وَتِلْكَ الأيَّامُ نُدَاوِلُهَا بَيْنَ النَّاسِ وَلِيَعْلَمَ اللَّهُ الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ وَيَتَّخِذَ مِنكُمْ شُهَدَاء وَاللَّهُ لاَ يُحِبُّ الظَّالِمِينَ * وَلِيُمَحِّصَ اللَّهُ الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ وَيَمْحَقَ الْكَافِرِينَ)

“And so are the days (good and not so good), We give to men by turns, that Allah may test those who believe, and that He may take martyrs from among you. And Allah likes not the Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doers).And that Allah may test the believers and destroy the disbelievers.” (Aali Imran: 141-142)

(وَاللَّهُ غَالِبٌ عَلَى أَمْرِهِ وَلَكِنَّ أَكْثَرَ النَّاسِ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ)

“And Allah has full power and control over His Affairs, but most of men know not.” (Yousuf:21)
