"We will,
without doubt, help our apostles and those who
believe, both in this world's life and on the Day when
the Witnesses will stand forth." (Ghafir: 51)
May prayers and peace be upon
the cheerful, fighting Prophet of mercy, and the
Prophet of the heroic epic, who said:
‹‹بُعِثت بين يدي الساعة بالسيف حتى يُعبد الله وحده لا
شريك له، وجُعِل رزقي تحت ظلِّ رمحي، وجُعِلت الذلَّة
والصغار على من خالف أمري، ومن تشبَّه بقوم فهو منهم››
"I have
been sent, close to the Last Hour, with the sword to
fight for the truth, until Allah is worshipped alone
without partners. My sustenance has been allocated
under the shade of my spear. Humility and defeat have
been allocated to whoever strays from my command. And
whoever imitates a people is one of them."

To my dear Amir and my noble
Sheikh, Ayman al-Zawahiri, may Allah preserve him and
protect him:
From the solider Mukhtar Abu al-Zubayr:
Our outstanding Amir, I know
that the burden on you is heavy, and the
responsibility is great; therefore, I urge you to use
patience with afflictions to prepare yourself, and
give thanks for the blessing of your existence.
Our Amir,
I bring glad tidings, for in Somalia you have soldiers
whose provisions are piety before Allah, and whose
equipment is supporting His religion - we consider
them thus, and Allah is their Reckoner - and they have
charged me with a trusteeship and a message whose
******* is:
Our
precious Amir, take from us pure friendship and a
loyal promise. Our hearts are full of sincere love,
with bleeding hearts growing with love for Allah. We
will go with you as loyal soldiers until doom and
injustice disappears from Islam, there is no conflict,
and all the religion is for Allah.
As if
the horizon is lined with fire *** and under the fire
are lions roaring
Our beloved Amir, on behalf of
my brothers in the Shabaab al-Mujahideen Movement,
leaders and soldiers, I say:
We pledge allegiance to you on
the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of His Prophet, to
hear and obey immediately in good times and bad times,
and not to argue matters with people unless I see
clear infidelity, and I have proof of this from Allah
inasmuch as I am able to.
Take us on the path of Jihad and
martyrdom that was drawn by our martyr Imam Usama. I
am full of trust and hope in Allah to make victory
accompany you and that the unity of the word will not
to abandon you, for He is the good Master and good
Supporter, and He has the power to bring them
together.
Our esteemed Amir, as you look
out for our news and situation, we live amongst the
grace of Allah. Our Creator still rewards us, as is
His practice, and gives us His best happiness. He has
done nicely for us, and His grace upon us is great,
and He has given us many blessings whose news has
traveled far and wide. So, all praise be to Allah, who
is full of grace, rules with justice, and gives
goodness. The domain and praise belong to Him, and He
gives life and death, and He has the power to do
everything.
We also congratulate you for
defeating the Crusaders in Afghanistan and Iraq, after
hardship and torture befell them. So, they were
defeated and scared and withdrew futilely, and the
armies of the allies came up short. Now, they are
begging for salvation - and there is no salvation -
and they hope to survive - and there is no escape - as
if I see them blaming each other for this death that
they have brought upon themselves. And they do not
know – may Allah shame them - that Allah led them by
their noses to their death.
Yes, wherever they go, death
awaits them. The Almighty said:
"Do they
not travel through the earth, and see what was the End
of those before them who did evil? Allah brought utter
destruction on them, and similar fates await those who
reject Allah. That is because Allah is the Protector
of those who believe, but those who reject Allah have
no protector." (Muhammad: 10-11)
However, you, our Mujahideen
brothers on all the fronts, you shout of great
strength and onrush of glory, you who were patient,
you who paid the price with your blood and the blood
of your leaders, you who were chosen by Allah to be
the fuel of the battle of the Ummah of Islam, receive
glad tidings, for Allah will not waste the fruit of
your jihad, and will not let your enemies defeat you.
Our Ummah has seen the signs of victory on the
horizon, and the banners of Jihad are victorious in
the fields, with the defeatism that used to be in
their hearts removed, and the spirit of dignity and
auspiciousness renewed in it such that it rebelled in
the face of tyranny.
And again
receive glad tidings that the breeze of Jihad is full
of hope, and the time of the departure of the enemy is
nigh, and their sun – by the grace of Allah - is on
the wane. All they have left is to leave. And they
will leave – with Allah's permission - from our lands
by force, inevitably departing, humiliated, with shame
that will not be removed, and a pain whose branding
will not go away. And the whole world bears witness –
by the grace of Allah - that America's time has come
to an end, and it is falling apart. As for its lackeys
in the lands of Islam, their day has worsened now that
their obscenity has become exposed and their thrones –
by the grace of Allah - have fallen, and a new dawn
has come for the Ummah of Islam, the dawn of Islam and
the rule of Shari'ah, the dawn of unity and the return
of the righteous Caliphate.
Our rebellious Ummah, this is
your day, for Islam will not yield before you, and
know that what was taken by force can only be taken
back by force. So, it is incumbent upon you to wage
armed Jihad, and you will see how the thrones of the
tyrants will fall. Allah the Almighty says:
"O ye who
believe! give your response to Allah and His
Messenger, when He calleth you to that which will give
you life; and know that Allah cometh in between a man
and his heart, and that it is He to Whom ye shall all
be gathered." (Al-Anfal: 24)

غدًا سيأتي أمير المؤمنين وقد * * * توطَّدت بانتشار
العدل أركانُ
وللمهابة هالاتٌ تحيط به
* * * وبالوقار وحسن السمت يزدانُ
جندٌ تحيط به في الروع ليس لهم *
* *في ساحة الموت أندادٌ وأقرانُ
ويحكمون بشرع اهلل ليس لهم * * *
إلا الأمانة مقياسٌ وميزانُ
وثمـَّة القدس
للإسلام عاصمةٌ * * * من فوق هاماتها سيفٌ وقرآنُ
Tomorrow the Amir of the faithful will come *** His
foundation is strengthened by spreading justice And
halos of dignity surround him *** adorned with honor
and good traits he has
Soldiers surround him in time of hardship who have no
*** equals and matches in the death fields And they rule by the Shari'ah
of Allah using only *** trustworthiness as the
standard and the scale With al-Quds as the capital
of Islam *** and a sword and a Qur'an over its head
O Allah, grant this Ummah a
guiding command, by which those who obey You are
strengthened, and those who disobey You are degraded,
and in which good is commanded and evil is forbidden.
Surely, You have the power to do everything.
And our final prayers are all
praise be to Allah, the Lord of all that exists.
And As-Salaamu Alaikum

The Speech of the Sheikh / Ayman al-Zawahiri
The
Amir of the Qaedat al-Jihad Group
In the
name of Allah, and all praise be to Allah, and may
prayers and peace be upon the Messenger of Allah, his
family, his companions, and those who followed him.
O Muslim brothers everywhere,
As-Salaamu Alaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakaatuhu.
Thereafter:
The grace
and blessings of Allah, Glorious and Exalted be He,
have been coming these days to the Muslim Ummah in
general and especially to the Mujahideen, for the
arrogant
Crusader enemy was defeated in
Iraq and Afghanistan, and the revolutions of the Arab
peoples exploded and so removed the great criminals in
Tunisia, Libya, and Egypt, and are shaking their
thrones in Yemen and Syria.
And as for America, the Arab
region is almost free of its grasp, and the Jihadi
movement – by the grace of Allah - is becoming firmer
and stronger by the events and hardships.
I am of
a people whose patience *** and power increase with
hardship
And the Jihadi movement is
growing - by the grace of Allah - and expanding in the
midst of its Muslim Ummah, despite the fact that it
faced the harshest Crusader campaign ever waged by the
West against the Muslims.
Today, I give glad tidings to
the Muslim Ummah that will please the believers and
frustrate the Crusaders, which is the joining of the
Shabaab al-Mujahideen Movement in Somalia to the
Qaedat al-Jihad Group, to support the Jihadi alliance
in the face of the Zionist-Crusader campaign and its
lackeys among the betraying rulers who allowed the
invading Crusader forces into their countries. They
entered the palaces of power on top of their tanks,
such as in Kabul, Baghdad, Mogadishu, and Grozny.
I ask the Master, Glorious be
He, with all of His good names and exemplary traits,
to accept this effort that is purely for His generous
face, and to make it a support for Islam and the
Muslims, and a defeat, damage, and weakness against
the allies of the Crusaders and Zionists and their
hypocritical agents.
Our brothers in the Shabaab al-Mujahideen
Movement were and remain - by the grace of Allah - the
steadfast rock and the obstacle upon which the
conspiracies of the Crusaders and their hypocritical
allies were broken, and which repulsed the American,
Ethiopian, and Kenyan Crusader attacks against Islam
and the Muslims in Somalia.
And I recommend for them and
myself piety before Allah, Glorious be He, in secret
and in public, and to adhere to His Shari'ah and be
gentle and humble with their Somali brothers, and to
do as much as they can to meet their needs and solve
their problems and help them in achieving their
interests, especially for those in need like widows,
orphans, the sick, the elderly, and poor people,
through whom victory is laid down. The Messenger of
Allah, may the prayers and peace of Allah be upon him,
said:
"Seek
among your weak ones, for you are given provision and
help only because of the weak amongst you."
And I recommend for my brothers
to spread justice and consultation among all the
groups of the Muslim Ummah so that it will be for them
a habit and custom, and to realize the grace and honor
of this patient, steadfast, Mujahid Somali people, and
to treat it with the generosity it deserves. I ask
Allah to open up this united, defiant, liberated, and
dear people so that Somalia will be – with Allah's
assistance and granting of success - the castle of
Islam and Jihad in East Africa.
I call upon the dear, proud
Somalia people, who refuse humiliation and submission,
to be good supporters for their Mujahideen sons, and
to help them in all that they may require so that the
perfumed land of Somalia is purified from the stain of
the Crusaders.
I call upon our people in
Somalia not to follow the bad Ulama and defeatist
leaders who brought the rotten Crusaders to the pure
lands of Islam so that they can remain on their
thrones and fill their pockets with unlawful money.
Instead, they should be guided by the people of
knowledge, Jihad, and steadfastness, who speak the
truth, such as Sheikh Abdullah Azzam and Sheikh Hamoud
Al-Aqla, may Allah have mercy upon the two of them,
and Sheikh Umar Abdul Rahman, may Allah release him,
and to be inspired by the biography of the Mujahid
Imam Sheikh Usama bin Laden, may Allah have mercy upon
him, for whom the world came surrendering and
submissive. So, he turned away from it, cast it behind
his back, and went to the dust of battles and bombs
and the life of austerity and the worry of travel. He
sought what Allah has instead of what His creations
have and chose the eternal afterlife over the mortal
life.
I also call upon my brothers to
feel their great responsibility, for they are in a
great gap among the gaps of Islam, and not let Muslims
be undermined by them.
I ask Allah, Glorious be He, to
grant them success, guide them, support them, and
support through them His religion, Book, and believing
worshippers, and to use them in obeying Him to support
every Muslim and repulse every oppressor, and support
every oppressed person in this world.
I remind them that we are one
Ummah that is waging one battle against the arrogant
Crusaders and their unjust, corrupting followers. So
let them carry their Muslim Ummah everywhere and
support their Muslim brothers with what they can, even
if it is just prayer, for it is an assured part of
victory. So let them not forget their brothers and
sisters who are imprisoned in the prisons of the
Crusaders and the corrupting oppressors, and to stalk
the Crusaders and Zionists wherever they can get them,
in order to release the imprisoned Muslim men and
women through them, and to invoke the greatness of the
Master, Glorious and Exalted be He, just as He
defeated the Americans and Crusaders in Afghanistan
and Iraq. He - Glorious be He - has the power to
defeat them in Somalia, Yemen, the Arabian Peninsula,
and Bait al-Quds.
I ask Allah, Glorious be He, to
facilitate a righteous path for this Ummah, in which
the people who obey Him are dignified and those who
disobey Him are humiliated, and in which good is
commanded and evil is forbidden.
And our final prayers are all
praise be to Allah, the Lord of all that exists.
And may the prayers and peace of
Allah be upon our master Muhammad, his family, and his
companions.
