The Afghani Mujahidun Maintain Enemy Losses In The Year 2017: 38th Anniversary Of The Soviet Invasion

The year 2017 has come to an end. The Mujahideen of Islamic Emirate carried
out Jihad with complete courage and steadfastness against the foreign invaders
and their local hirelings in Afghanistan during over the course of this
period. They advanced geographically, liberated districts, stopped enemy
advances and caused them immense losses by repeatedly targeting their
fortifications, corps level bases, command centers, outposts and check posts.
The enemy morale has been sapped, they were nervous on battlefields and had no
local support whereas the Mujahideen fought with the lofty spirit of Jihad,
defeated large formations with small numbers, struck fear and heavy losses
through martyrdom and insider attacks and were the beneficiaries of Allah's
divine support.
We wish to provide a few statistics about the current year Jihad which have
been collected and presented with utmost accuracy after undergoing a vigorous
process.
- A total of 7503 large and small attacks have been carried out against the
enemy during 2017.
- 48 attacks from among the total were martyrdom attacks.
- A total of 289 foreign invaders were killed and 124 wounded in these
attacks.
- Since the army, police and intelligence apparatus of the Kabul regime are
used as shield by the Americans and are at the forefront of war therefore they
have suffered the most losses with a total of 14938 deaths and 9430 injuries.
- 409 among the hireling enemy deaths are their commanders who were killed in
attacks around the country.
- Over the course of previous year a total of 4196 army, police and Arbakis
(militia) surrendered to the Islamic Emirate due to the efforts of Preaching
and Guidance Commission of Islamic Emirate, bringing in 323 heavy and light
arms along with large amount of ammunition and other equipment.
- The total number of enemy military vehicles (pickup trucks and APCs)
destroyed during this period is 2976.
- A total of 20 enemy aircraft were downed during 2017 including 13
helicopters and fixed-wing airplanes as well as 7 Unmanned Ariel Vehicles or
Drones.

Statement of Islamic Emirate concerning 38th anniversary of the Soviet
Invasion
Thirty-eight years ago on 6th of Jaddi 1358 Hijri Solar, Afghanistan faced a
historical trial of the 20th century as it was invaded by the Soviet Union
communist bloc.
During the course of invasions of Afghanistan throughout history, this date
left such destructive effects on the oppressed Afghan nation that it is still
suffering from it today and has morphed into the latest series of calamities.
The Soviet Union - as the chief exporter of communist doctrine seeking to
globalize its repulsive ideology - targeted Afghanistan and transformed the
tranquil life of the Muslim Afghan nation into sufferings, martyrdoms,
displacement and other misfortunes at the hands of their intelligence agents
and mercenaries.
But all praise belong to Allah, the valiant Afghan nation managed to push this
repulsive bloc to the dustbin of history over the course of a decade through
their religious courage and Afghan pride and avenged their martyrdoms,
hardships and sufferings such that no one in the world would ever recognize
the Soviet Union or even utter her name.
The Jihad and struggle of the Afghans not only emancipated Afghanistan from
the jaws of the red anaconda, rather nearly half of the world was set free
from the evil of communism and breathed a sigh of relief.
Unfortunately the global tyrant learnt nothing from the defeat of Soviet Union
and invaded Afghanistan again at the turn of the century with a slight change
of ideology and new weapons.
American - which had not received a teeth shattering answer since the invasion
of the former Yugoslavia - failed to take anything away from the Soviet defeat
and instead followed her footsteps of invading Afghanistan.
However all praise belong to Allah, the Afghan nation remains the same old
Afghan nation armed with the same faith and sense of pride. Therefore it
utilized experiences from its Jihad against the Soviet Union in the face of
the American invasion and today, American is facing defeat and humiliation
like the former Soviet Union. Her soldiers were killed, economy weakened and
international prestige and status shattered.
The Islamic Emirate considers this black day of invasion of Afghanistan by the
Soviet Union as the mother of all current misfortunes and calls on the
supposed Afghans toiling for the invaders to abstain from promoting
anti-Islamic and alien ideologies in Afghanistan. Refrain from remaining the
enablers of invaders. Stop killing your brothers under the wings and shadow of
occupation. Take heed from the defeat and shameful condition of the communists
and put an end to major national treason against your own people and religion.
