They are including Ambassador Joseph DeTrani, Dr. Olli Heinonen, Ambassador Robert Joseph, Matthew Kroenig, Rebeccah Heinrichs and Alireza Jafarzadeh.

A panel discussion on "Iran's Ballistic Buildup". Alireza Jafarzadeh said "You cannot deal with Iran nuclear program without addressing the missile program; you cannot deal with the missile program without dealing with the policies of the regime including the support of terrorist groups." …Iran will not move toward a nuclear weapon overtly but they will continue to move covertly.

Amb. Robert Joseph said during the "Iran's Ballistic Buildup" panel discussion said: "The fact that Iran has an ICBM program, and the only purpose of an ICBM program is for a nuclear program, I think is very important to address."

Maryam Rajavi: Eradicating the clerical regime's nuclear and terrorism threats means getting rid of the regime in its entirety

Democratic change and an end to the religious fascism ruling Iran is a requisite for regional peace, democracy, security, and stability

After several decades of appeasing the religious fascism ruling Iran and victimizing the Iranian people and Resistance, and simultaneous with the U.S. withdrawal from the Iran nuclear deal (the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action - JCPOA), the President of the United States declared that the lavish payments to the clerical regime by the previous U.S. administration had been disastrous, adding that the sinister regime ruling Iran, the leading state sponsor of terror in the world today, "has funded its long reign of chaos and terror by plundering the wealth of its own people."

Speaking on behalf of the Iranian Resistance, which first revealed the Iranian regime's secret nuclear program and facilities and has been the flag bearer of a non-nuclear Iran, Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, the President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran, said, "Eradicating the clerical regime's nuclear and terrorism threats means getting rid of the regime in its entirety. A regime based on the principle of Velayat-e faqih (absolute rule of the clergy) cannot exist without terrorism, suppression, and weapons of mass destruction."

"As in the past, any future investment in this regime is doomed to failure. As the Iranian Resistance has persistently declared, standing with the criminal mullahs, and empowering those responsible for, and the perpetrators of, the massacre of the Iranian people's valiant children, will only embolden the religious fascists' warmongering, export of fundamentalism and terrorism," she emphasized.

Mrs. Rajavi added, "As the nationwide uprising in December and January demonstrated, the Iranian people want to be liberated from religious oppression and despotism. Democratic change in Iran is inevitable and a free Iran is within reach. The end of religious dictatorship in Iran is a requisite for regional peace, democracy, security, and stability. This is the only way to end war and crisis in the region and avert a larger war."

"The United Nations Security Council must take up and refer to an international tribunal the dossier on the leaders of the Iranian regime's terrorism and countless crimes against the Iranian people, especially the massacre of political prisoners," she underscored.

U.S. Treasury sanctions 9 Iranian individuals

The U.S. Treasury imposed new sanctions on Thursday against six individuals and three companies linked to the IRGC Quds force. US Treasury secretary, Steven Munchin said Iranian regime's individuals and companies who have been sanctioned were operating a vast network of money laundering and were funneling millions of dollars to the Iranian Revolutionary Guard's elite Quds Force, just days after President Donald Trump withdrew from the 2015 Iran nuclear deal formally known as Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, JCPOA.

The Treasury Department accused Iranian regime central bank of actively helping the group to access U.S. dollars held in foreign bank.

The US Treasury Secretary Steven Munchin said: "The Iranian regime and its Central Bank have abused access to entities in the UAE to acquire U.S. dollars to fund the IRGC-QF's malign activities, including to fund and arm its regional proxy groups, by concealing the purpose for which the U.S. dollars were acquired."

The six individuals and three entities were sanctioned under U.S. regulations targeting specially designated global terrorist suspects and Iranian financial activity, the Treasury said.

Trump's decision has given grace periods of 90 days to six months for companies to wind down their trade with Iran.

In February 2015, Reuters reported that at least $1 billion in cash had been smuggled into Iran despite U.S. and other sanctions. Before it reached Iran, the cash was passed through money changers and front companies in Dubai, in the United Arab Emirates, and Iraq, sources told Reuters.

The report said Iran's central bank had worked with other entities, including sanctioned Iranian companies, to find ways to obtain US dollars, including using front companies and their networks. They said the central bank had given the orders to the front companies abroad to buy dollars.

Before the 2015 nuclear deal was reached, front companies had mushroomed in Dubai to facilitate payments to Iran. The use of multiple front companies, which bought dollars from currency traders in Dubai and Iraq, was preferred as it concealed the overall size of the dollar purchasing operation.
