Bayyanar Musulunci ke da wuya sai watanni masu alfarma suka koma kamar yadda suke a farkon halitta inda Allah Madaukakin Sarki Ya haramta wannan al'ada ta jinkirtawar cikin fadinSa: "Lallai ne kidayayyun watanni a wurin Allah wata goma sha biyu ne a cikin Littafin Allah a ranar da Ya halicci sammai da kasa daga cikinsu akwai hudu masu alfarma. Wannan shi ne addini madaidaici. Saboda haka kada ku zalunci kanku a cikinsu. Kuma ku yaki mushirikai gaba daya kamar yadda suke yakar ku gaba daya. Kuma ku sani cewa lallai ne Allah Yana tare da masu takawa. Abin sanni kawai "Jinkirtawa" kari ne a cikin kafirci ana batar da wadanda suka kafirta game da shi: suna halattar da wata a wata shekara kuma su haramta da shi a wata shekarar domin su dace da adadin abin da Allah Ya haramta. Saboda haka suna halattar da abin da Allah Ya haramtar. An kawace musu munanan ayyukansu. Kuma Allah ba Ya shiryar da mutane kafirai." (k:36-37).

Kuma Ma'aiki (SAW) a Hajjinsa na Ban-Kwana ya ce, "Ku saurara! Lallai zamani ya juyo kamar yadda Allah Ya tsara shi a ranar da Ya halicci sammai da kasa,(1) shekara wata goma sha biyu ne; hudu daga cikinsu masu alfarma ne. Uku suna jere – Zul-kida da Zul Hajji da Muharram; na hudun shi ne Rajab na Mudar, wanda yake zuwa a tsakanin Jimada Akhir da Sha'aban." Wato yana nufin cewa sunayen watanni sun komo kamar yadda suke a farkon halitta, kafin al'adu su shigo su jirkita su. Kuma ga shi an haramta amfani da al'adar nan ta jinkirtar wani wata don ya fada wata shekara bayan tsawon zamani da aka share ana yi a matsayin abin da mutane suka yi imani da shi tare da mayar da shi addini kaka da kakanni.

Yadda aka fara kidayar shekarar Musulunci:

Daga nan Muharram ya ci gaba da kasancewa watan farko na shekarar Musulunci, sai dai kuma daga baya ne aka yanke shawarar yadda shekarar farko ta Musulunci ta fara aiki. Sheikh Sakkhawiy ya bayyana dalla-dallar yadda kidayar shekarar Musulunci ko mu ce kalandar Muslunci ta samo asali, inda ya ce: "Ibnu Abbas ya ruwaito cewa ba a samu wani takamaiman kidaya ba a Madina lokaci da Annabi (SAW) ya isa Madina. An ruwaito cewa Umar (RA) ya shaida wa taron manyan sahabban Annabi (SAW) cewa: "Dukiya tana kara shigowa. Abin da muka rarraba ba ya gudana a kan wata kidaya ta kwanaki. To yaya za mu magance wannnan?" Sai Hurmuzan ya bayar da amsa. Shi ya kasance Sarkin Ahwaz. Bayan an kama shi a lokacin da aka ci Farisa da yaki sai aka kawo shi ga Umar (RA), sai ya Musulunta. To shi ne ya ce: "Mutanen Farisa suna (da wani tsari) kidaya da suke kira mahroz kuma suna jingina shi ne da sarakunansu. Kuma kalmar mahroz ce aka Larabtar da ita ta koma mu'arrakh kuma aka ciro kalmar ta'arikh daga jikinta." (Hakim Muhammed Said, Hamdard Islamicus, 1981)

Ahmad Ibn Hambal da Buhari sun ruwaito daga Maimun Ibn Mihran cewa: "An gabatar wa Umar (RA) da batun wani rance da za a biya a watan Sha'aban, sai Umar (RA) ya tambaya cewa ‘wane Sha'aban ne?' Na farko ko wannan da muke ciki ko mai zuwa? Ka fada wa mutane abin da za su iya fahimta." Daga nan sai ya rika bayar da umarni kuma ya sa aka samar da wanan kalanda da muke gani a yau a shekara ta 16 Bayan Hijira, kuma tun daga wancan lokaci ake amfani da ita. (Madogara ta baya).

Imam Suyudi ya rubuta game da tarihin Buhari cewa Umar (RA) ya yi Istihara na wata daya yana neman Allah Ya kawo masa mafita kan wannan lamari. Sannan sai ya yi shawara da Ali Ibn Abu Talib inda a karshe aka sanya ranakun hijira a duka harkokin da suka shafi ayyukan mulki na tsawon shekara biyu da rabi kuma lissafin ya zamo gama-gari daga shekara ta 16 Bayan Hijira har zuwa yau.

Kuma: "Cewa Umar ya shafe wata guda yana Istikhara yana neman taimakon Allah wannan yana nuna irin muhimmancin da ke akwai ga zabi nagari ga al'ummar Musulmi. Kuma cewa ya tuntubi mashawartansa musamman Imam Ali ya nuna irin amincewar da yake da ita gare shi, kuma ba ya aikata wani abu ba tare da goyon bayansu ba. Sannan fadin Annabi (SAW) sai ta zo a zuciya inda yake cewa: "Duk wanda ya yi Istkhara ba zai tabe ba, sannan wanda ya nemi shawara ba zai yi nadama ba."

Babu shakka farkon kowane wata yana farawa ne da ganin jinjirin wata. Alkur'ani da Sunnah sun tabbatar da haka a Surar Bakara (k:2:189) da kuma Sunnar Annabi (SAW). Kuma Umar (RA) yana da masaniya kan muhimmancin lamarin, musamman da yake Alkur'ani ya haramta wa mushirikai jirkita lokaci. Don haka yake son ya tabbatar da cewa shekarar da ya zaba da taron da ya kira sun ci jarrabawar da zamani zai kawo musu.

Dukan kasashe da akidu sukan so komai nasu ya daidaita kuma su zamo sun dore a kan wata koyarwa da suka ginu a kanta. Duk wata akida da ta zabi rashin tabbas kan ma'aunan lissafinta babu shakka za ta mika wuya ga matsin lambar da zamani zai kawo mata ta komo tana neman sake fasali da daidaita shi. Wannan shi ne har yanzu makomar babbar kalandar Girigori (Kalandar Turawa ko ta 'yan albashi) da ake amfani da ita. Matsalar da kalandar Girigori kamar yadda wani marubuci ya lura ita ce:

"A bayan kowace shekara dari hudu wasu canje-canje suka auku, kuma wannan saboda kalandar da ke bibiyar rana takan bukaci yawan sauye-sauye. Abu ne kuma da ba zai yiwu a kawar da wannan gazawa ba."

Ya kara da cewa: "Taron kasashen Duniya (wadda daga baya ta zama Majalisar dinkin Duniya) ya kafa wani kwamiti na musamman a birnin Geneba a 1923 domin samar da wata kalanda wadda duniya za ta karbe ta kuma ta dace da canjin yanayi. daya daga cikin shawarwarin da kwamitin ya bayar shi ne a raba shekara zuwa wata 13. Sai dai irin wannan kalanda ba za ta dace ba, saboda yanayin lokutan sassan duniya yakan sha bamban a lokutan aukuwarsu na shekara. Sannan fasali da nisan rana a Gabas da Yamma yana haifar da babban bambanci. Kuma saboda wannan bambanci da aka gada, abu ne da ba zai yiwu ba kalandar rana ta samu amincewa a dukan duniya."
